Ksubi Wins Interior Design Award

Denim mavericks ksubi have proved their design worth in another arena, winning Australia's prestigious 2008 Interior Design Award with the new store "The Bombed Mache".
The store created by ksubi in association with Herbert & Mason architects, leads the way in social and economical design by focusing on salvage and "mash" culture to produce an aesthetic the team call "homeless chic".

Eighty percent of the shop is constructed from refuse and throw away materials, while the entire design is customized and hand crafted. In keeping with the trend for momentary spaces, and the brand's assertion that "design for retail is impermanent" The Bombed Mache acts as a temporary destination with constant shifts in the interior made by ksubi's art department.

Congrats mates!

Celebrate Earth Day!

B. Son of San Francisco is a great line of laid back slouchy tees, hoodys, cardigans, and pants. But don't just take my word for it. Sportswear International named them Best Newcomer Brand of 2007. Now, B.Son has produced its first line of Organics. The certified organic cotton is grown in California and the line is produced in San Francisco. They are processed at a low environmental impact dye facility. Organic cotton is grown without the use of pesticides and fertilizers that are damaging to our environment. I have read that it takes as much as 2 lbs. of pesticide to produce 1 tee shirt. Congratulations B.Son for not only being one of the best new brands in the market but also for being an eco conscious company.

HOLDING COURT AT COVET

Bonjour!
Everybody knows how crazy I am right now about all white sneakers: I just can't get enough. French brand Spring Court has just launched their US website. The DNA of the Springcourt Brand is defined by "Heritage, Comfort, and Style." This has and will always be the spirit behind the Spring Court sneakers collection. With its distinctive elegance, it's no wonder why Spring Court has found itself on the feet of notable celebrities such as Kate Moss, Jude Law, Liam Gallagher, and, before them, Serge Gainsbourg, and John Lennon. With its trademark old school aesthetic, the Spring Court collection is an exclusive footwear line carried at Steven Alan, Oak, American Rag, Fred Segal and of Course Covet!"
I'm crazy about the B2 Cotton rib grey mid and G2 Low Cut Classic in white canvas. Check them out on their site. I have a feeling you'll agree. Better yet stop on by Covet and get a pair today! They won't last long!
